Rock Hill – Master Triton Michael Timothy Ayers, 8, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at his home. Triton survived many obstacles during his fight with Trisomy 9 Mosiac and never lost his smile and love for others.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church-Rock Hill, with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating. Burial will be private.
Born in Rock Hill, Triton was the son of Joshua Timothy Ayers and Heather Harkey Ayers. He attended Mt. Holly Elementary School and enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and making people smile. He was his daddy’s best friend and his sister’s baby.
In addition to his parents, Triton is survived by his sister, Lorelei Catherine Knight; his brother, Charles Banks Ayers; his maternal grandparents, Rachel Walker, and Michael (Angie) Harkey Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Tim (Angie) Ayers, and Jeanne (James) Baumgardner; and his aunts and uncles, Jessica (Colby) Bowers, Keely (Andrew) Will, Ashley (Chase) Yates, Michael (Amber Lucas) Harkey, Jr., Ivy (Seth) Blankenship, Taylor (Dillen King) Harkey, Charlotte (Nikita) Zhukovsky, Magnolia Walker and Andrea Harkey.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
