Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Tommie E. Watts, 86, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Catawba Baptist Church with Rev. Drs. Ron Richardson and Tommy Huddleston officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 6-7:30 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Watts was the son of the late Lemuel Edward Watts and the late Hattie Faile Watts. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church and retired from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Company. He loved hunting, fishing, tractor buying and visiting flea markets. He had a hobby of collecting tools and at any given time could be found with a pocket full of them. He was the widower of Reba Jo Watts whom he was married to for 65 years.
Mr. Watts is survived by his three daughters, Nancy W. Guffey (David), Cindy W. Martin and Sherri W. Wert (Rick); five sisters, Iva Mae Addison, Lola Totherow, Patsy Dobbins, Betty Miller and Mattie Haire; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren all of Rock Hill. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Simmers, and three brothers, Bonnie Watts, Jimmie Watts and Frank Watts.
