Thomas (Bubba) Kevin Shuler, 57, of McConnells, SC passed away October 18, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center after a short battle with lung cancer that metastasized to the liver.
Mr. Shuler was born on March 21, 1967 in Rock Hill, SC. He was self-employed owning Kevin’s Bobcat Service. He suffered a massive stroke 14 years ago that limited his capabilities, however he was resilient and still had sharp mind skills. He loved antique tractors, riding his golf cart to visit neighbors, working on lawn mowers, classic country and older rock, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was the best brother, husband, dad and paw-paw. He never met a stranger. He was quick witted with a sense of humor that left a permanent spot on anyone’s heart that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents James E. (Sonny) and Joanne Shuler, and brother Kenneth (Ken) J. Shuler.
Mr. Shuler is survived by his best friend and wife of 36 years Kimberly Diane Shuler; his daughter Megan Elizabeth Shuler of McConnells, SC; his sisters Debbie (David) Surface of Charlotte, NC, Delaine (Raymond) Williams of Fort Mill, SC and Lisa (David Shelley) of Iron Station, NC; sister-in-laws Candace Boulware and Dawn (Susan and Leanne Kimbrell) Culp of Gaston, SC; nephews Chuck and Robert Feller, and Joshua Boulware; nieces Kimberly Shuler and Nicole Pope; 4 great nieces Alivia Hunter, Shai-Ann Boulware, Kaitlyn Feller, and Katelyn Pope; 3 great nephews Dalton Feller, and Austin and Camrin Pope; his 2 greatest joys of life that he loved immensely, grandson Peyton Thomas Bowers and granddaughter Avery Hope Bowers.
