Rock Hill, SC – Tex Junior Williams, 75, passed away on July 26, 2024 at Rock Hill Post Acute Care. He was born on September 27, 1948 to the late Miles Thurmond Williams and the late Mary Alice Rogers.
Mr. Williams was survived by his two sons, Tex J. Williams of Rock Hill, SC, Stanley L. Williams and his wife, Kathleen Shields-Williams, of Rock Hill, SC; son-in-law, Sidney Welch; Sheryle Williams; two grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Sue Ellington and Donna Renee Bowman, and brother Richard Thurmond Williams and seventeen nieces and nephews.
Mr. Williams was a Site Manager at BHI Energy at Catawba Nuclear Plant where he retired after many years of work and service.
Mr. Williams always loved music and was a part of a gospel group, The Representatives. He was an avid lover of softball, Clemson Football, and raising and riding horses. He was a strong and quiet man, and loved his family dearly.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, starting at 1 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732, with a funeral ceremony following at 2:00 PM. The burial after the service at Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes, 401 Hollis Lakes Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made in Tex Junior Williams’s name to Rock Hill Post Acute Care, 159 Sedgewood Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
