Sue Martin Vines, 81, of York, S.C. passed away on January 30, 2024 at home.
Born July 26, 1942 in Jefferson County, Alabama, Sue was the daughter of the late Van Martin and Kathleen Fuller Martin.
Mrs. Vines was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Martin, and her grandson Evan Vines. Survivors include husband David Vines, daughter Rae Goforth (Rob), sons Brett (Toni) and Scott (Sara), five grandchildren, Katie, Zach, Jack, Jillian, and Axel, and five great-grandchildren, Zane, Skylar, Adalyn, Harper, and Emersyn.
Her funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, S.C., with Pastor Michael Beeks officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Interim Hospice, 154 Amendment Ave., Rock Hill, S.C 29732 and Rawlinson Road Baptist Church, 1024 Rawlinson Road, Rock Hill, S.C. 29732.
