Ms. Sandra Faye Culp, 79, died Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at Atrium Health Medical Center, Pineville, NC. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the First Baptist Church Richburg, SC. Visitation with the family will proceed the service from 2:00-3:00 PM.
Ms. Culp was born July 14, 1944 in Chester County, SC. and was the daughter of the late John “Big Buddy” Cooper, and Lorie Cooper (Bishop). She attended schools in Chester and Rock Hill SC. Sandra was a gifted pianist who shared her love of music in multiple gospel groups, music venues and churches. She spent many years of her life working auctions with her best friend, and finding deals at local flea markets. Her greatest passion for the past 21 years was playing the piano for the First Baptist Church Richburg.
She is survived by her children, Gregory T Huntley (Wanda) of Westley Chapel, FL, and Cynthia C Gaughen (Joshua) of Maidenhead, UK; her four grandchildren Ashley T Parks (Jeremy) of Ruther Glen, VA, James T Traylor (Lauren) of Chapin, SC, Adam Huntley of St. Petersburg, FL, Anna Gaughen of Bowling Green, VA; and her four great-grandchildren, Logan Traylor of Chapin, SC, Mackynlee Parks of Ruther Glen, VA, Landon Traylor of Chapin, SC, and Mayson Parks of Ruther Glen, VA. She is proceeded in death by her husband James Culp, of Chester, SC, her sister, Diane Clark, of Chester, SC, and her brothers William Cooper of Chester, SC, and John Cooper Jr. of Chester, SC.
