Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Ronald Eugene Tritt, Jr., 47, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Tirzah ARP Church with Reverend Andy Putnam officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
Ron was the son of Ronald Eugene Tritt, Sr. and Bonnie Wray Tritt. He graduated from Northwestern High School and attended York Technical College. He worked as a heavy machine operator in the construction industry, but he could operate any type of machinery. A simple man, Ron loved the outdoors and especially loved to hunt and fish. No matter the type of game, he was up for hunting. His love of fishing took him from the waters of Lake Wylie to the coast and the mountains. He knew all the best fishing holes and he knew Lake Wylie like the back of his hand.
In addition to his parents, Ron is survived by his son, Lander Eugene Tritt of Rock Hill; his brother, Clay Tritt (Gretchen) of Hendersonville, NC; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Tritt’s name to Tirzah ARP Church, 6161 Mt. Gallant Road, York, SC 29745.
