Richburg, SC – Mr. Robert Wilson Jackson, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1883 Saluda Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730, with Brother Jason Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, 620 South Cherry Road, Rock Hill. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm at the church prior to the service.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Jackson was the son of the late Herbert Lee Jackson and the late Mae Louise White Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Edgar Jackson, Carl Jackson, Floyd Jackson; sisters, Louise Mae Strait, Dorothy Mitchum, Margaret Shugart, Laurel Gaulden, and four nephews. He was retired as a Residential Builder/Contractor. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his son, Robert Jackson, Jr. of Draper, UT; three daughters, Dwana Lee Jackson of Draper, UT, Kelly Lynn Jackson of Draper, UT, Teresa Michelle Jackson of Richburg, SC; his brother, Odell Jackson of Rock Hill; his sister, Miriam Jackson Mitchum of Bonneau, SC; his grandson, Bart Brody Thomas; his granddaughters, Jennifer (Russell) Finan-Cridland, Micaela Lauren Thomas; 13 nephews and 11 nieces.
