Rock Hill, SC – Richard Thomas Wages, 80, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Born in Chester, SC, Mr. Wages was the son of the late Charles Eugene Wages and the late Mary Henry Wages. He was a dedicated electrician who worked tirelessly for several companies. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Richard’s nephew, Wayne Ferguson, who was more like a brother to him.
Surviving are his spouse, Kay Griffin Wages; two daughters, Regina Lynn Wages, Wanda Workman; his step-daughter, Kathy Dowling; and his step-son, John Harper, Jr.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Wages’s name to Hospice & Community Care PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
