Rock Hill, SC – Richard Laurence Armstrong passed away on June 5, 2024. Born on March 12, 1941 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Richard and Mary Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Newman Armstrong; two daughters, Wendy Gay Armstrong and Tracy Lynn Armstrong; two brothers, Richard Ted Armstong and Joseph Austin Armstrong; and sister, Janice Ruth.
He was survived by his son, Richard Gregory Armstrong, wife Yulie of Charlotte, NC; Sky Ramirez, Summer Stock, Spring Drake, Ashley Armstrong, Kristen Armstrong, Gregory Armstrong, Gracie Armstrong, and Grant Armstrong; and three great-grandchildren.
Richard worked for UPS for 30+ years. He served in the Air Force, and attended Saint Mary’s in Rock Hill.
There will be a visitation on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732. A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel.
