Rebecca “Becky” Corinne Fields, 60, went home to be with The Lord, surrounded by her family and friends, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her daughter’s residence in Clover, SC.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Lando Baptist Church, 3737 Lando Rd, Richburg, SC 29729. Burial will follow the service at the Lando cemetery.
Becky was born on October 20, 1964, in York County, South Carolina. She was a very generous, forgiving, and selfless person. She always loved to laugh and spend time with her friends. She’s affectionately remembered as a professional shopper, returner, and a proud administrator of the neighborhood watch. She was passionate about taking care of her children throughout her entire life. She cared deeply for her family and was especially involved in her grandchildren’s lives. Becky never met a stranger and was always focused on making the lives of those around her better. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Crystal Fields DeFreitas with husband, David, William Kyle Fields with wife, Anastasia, and James “J.B.” Fields with wife, Ashley; her mother, Hazel A. Catoe with husband, Bruce; her siblings, Charles Calvin Flynn with wife, Rhonda, Ruth Annette Flynn Cole with husband, Tim, Scott Elam with wife, Theressa, and Jerry Elam; her grandchildren, Braydon, Tyler, Jordan, Baylee, Elijah, Izaiah, and Kohen; a special great-grandchild, “Bump”; along with her numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and adopted children.
Becky was preceded in death by her father, Grover Calvin Flynn.
