Rock Hill, SC – Phyllis Shirley Varnadore 83, entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
We will celebrate her life on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 am, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 1175 Albright Road, Rock Hill, with Mr. John Staton officiating.
Mrs. Varnadore was the daughter of the late James William Shirley and the late Audrey Lee Bigham as well as the late Helen and the late Woody Aycoth. She was the loving wife of the late Bobby C. Varnadore. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lee Varnadore; sisters, Patricia Dixon and Ruby Grant; a grandson, Johnathon Varnadore.
Mrs. Varnadore was a wonderful mother to four children, Dr. Michael Varnadore of Blythewood, SC, Debra V. Garris, and Sonya (Gene) McDaniel both of Rock Hill. She was the loving “Mawmaw” to ten grandchildren, Jessica Varnadore, Amber Ingram (Derek), Patrick Varnadore, Chris Lee Garris, Grant Varnadore, Misty Varnadore Hunter (Chris), Christopher Varnadore, Brandon Varnadore, Ryan Varnadore, Ashley Varnadore and many great-grandchildren. Mrs. Varnadore also leaves behind her sisters, Linda (Gene) Love of Crestview, FL and Margaret Owens of Chester, SC.
Mrs. Varnadore was a strong woman of faith and was well loved by her church family. She adored her children and grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to tell them how much they meant to her. Her family is thankful to know she joined the arms of Jesus. She leaves her family with so much love and many wonderful memories.
