Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Patricia Neal McFadden, 76, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at her home.
A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Reverend Matthew James officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Pat was the daughter of the late Eugene Clayton Neal, Sr. and the late RoseMary Burns Neal. She enjoyed interior design and worked for many years with Martin Paint, Co. Her friendliness and outgoing personality led her to work at the South Carolina Welcome Center, welcoming visitors to our area. Pat later retired from Winthrop University where she worked for 12 years at the Dinkins Student Center. A vibrant lady who was full of energy, Pat enjoyed spending her time exercising at the YMCA and traveling with friends. Her outgoing personality was evident to all who met her. Pat loved her family beyond words. She always put family first and enjoyed making everything a family affair. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy and loved every minute they could spend together, no matter what they were doing.
Pat is survived by her husband of 58 years, Guy McFadden; her son, Matthew Neal McFadden (Isabel) of Simpsonville, SC; her daughter, Carissa McFadden James (Matthew) of Rock Hill; her brothers, Clay Neal (Kim) and Eric Neal and sister, Belinda Neal Curtis (Kyle) all of Rock Hill; and her granddaughters, Alexandra McFadden Willson (Arthur), RoseCatherine James and RoseMary Elisabeth James.
