Rock Hill, SC – Patricia Anne Privette Ramsey, 87, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Garden Sanctuary Church of God, 831 Cedar Street, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Patrick Conley officiating with Reverend Lewis Gunn assisting. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, 620 South Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Ms. Ramsey was the daughter of the late Horace Eugene Privette and the late Virginia Funderburke Privette. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School Class of 1954, Nursing school graduate in 1965 where she worked in that profession until retirement. She was Ms. Senior Rock Hill in 1999 and Ms. South Carolina Senior Classic in 2000. Ms. Pat volunteered at Harbor Chase Nursing Home each Sunday, singing for the many sweet residents there. She was a member of Garden Sanctuary Church of God.
Surviving are her daughter, Kim (Jim) Faile of Clover, SC; her son, Michael Steve (Donna) Ramsey of Rock Hill; her brother, Horace “Buddy” Eugene (Tracy) Privette Jr. of York, SC; her two sisters, Jean Monteith, and Nancy Yarborough both of Rock Hill; her grandson, Jonathan (Adrianna) Faile of Clover, SC; her granddaughter, Candace (Jon) Kerr of Hillsborough, NJ; her four great-grandsons, Eli Kerr, Trevor Kerr, Landon Kerr, and Zaiden Kerr; two great-granddaughters, Amina Kerr, and Aspen Faile.
