Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Priscilla (Pat) T. Blake. 79, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Rogers Memorial ARP Church, 1820 Eden Terrace, Rock Hill, SC 29730 with Pastor David Stover officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00-1:45 pm at the church.
Born in Kannapolis, NC, Mrs. Blake was the daughter of the late Hazel Lee Turner and Margaret Elizabeth Gilland Turner. She loved the Lord and was a member of Rogers Memorial ARP Church. She retired from United Mortgage and previously worked as an Executive Secretary for General Electric. Mrs. Blake loved eating out and spending time with her friends in the “Never Grow Old” group She was a beach girl, and loved visiting Carolina Beach with her family. When she and her husband were younger, they enjoyed going dancing.
Mrs. Blake is survived by the “Sunshine” of her life, Jimmy Blake, to whom she was married to for over 40 years. She is also survived by her bonus daughters, Lisa Dunlap (Bill) and Lori Bigham (Eric) of Rock Hill; her niece, Ashlee Weaver (D’Sjon Gagum) of Kannapolis, NC; and five grandchildren, Brandon and Blake Dunlap, and Casey, Haley and Alex Bigham. She will also be missed by her fur baby, Sophie Jane. She was preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Weaver.
