Rock Hill, SC – Michael Munn, 83, passed away on May 16, 2024. He was born in Winnsboro, SC to the late Mickey and Jimmy Munn on July 17, 1940.
There will be a visitation on Friday, May 24, 2024 starting at 11 AM at First Baptist Church, 481 Hood Center Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Following the visitation, a celebration of life will be held at 12 PM.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kitty Munn; daughter, Holly (Michael) Matthews; son, Josh (Jenifer) Munn; brother, Keith (Linda) Munn; seven grandchildren, Sarah Kathryn, Ben, Caroline, Jack, Caaman, Samantha, and Josh Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Pat Vaughan and Lois Anderson.
Mike was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Rock Hill for 55 years. He graduated from Rock Hill High School, class of 1959. He went to both Clemson University and University of South Carolina. Mike was a member of the Thursday Morning Prayer Breakfast. He owned and operated Trexler Lane Mobile Home Park. He was an officer in the Manufactured Homes Association. Mike was a polio survivor and he was able to overcome challenges and was a “tough ole bird.” He loved the Lord, his family, and was a selfless man. His friends called him “the moose.” He was loved by many and will be missed.
