Rock Hill, SC – Michael K. Meade Jr., 54, passed away on March 15, 2025, at his home beside his wife for 34 years. He was born on May 22, 1970, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Michael Kent Meade Sr. and the late Sandra Franzelle Meade.
He is survived by his loving wife, Erica Meade; his sons, Justin Faile (Courtney) and Dalton Meade (Christen); his precious granddaughter, Stella Rose Meade; his brother, Kevin Meade; and his nephews, Dylan Meade and Jacob Meade.
Michael worked at Duke Energy for over 20 years as an operator. He loved being around his family and friends, and people often referred to him as “big guy.” He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 6:00 PM.
