Rock Hill, SC – Mary Young Broome “Jackie”, 86, passed away on August 21, 2024. She was born on July 11, 1938 in Chester, SC, to the late Clayton Young and the late Mary Young. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bobby Dean Broome; son, Donnie Moore; daughter, Janay Broome; brother, James Young; and son-in-law, David McClellan. She is survived by her son, Ray Moore (Paulette); daughter, Becky McClellan; five grandchildren, Jake McClellan (Mallory), Josh McClellan, Brittany Bradshaw (Matt), Laurel McCall (Christopher), Wade Moore; five great-grandchildren, and family member, Debbie Bell.
She worked and retired at Frito Lay’s for 20 years.
There will be a graveside service for Mary Broome on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 2 PM at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, 620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
