Rock Hill, SC – MAJ. Ronald Voncelle Faulkenberry, 87, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Laurelwood Cemetery, Stuart Avenue, Rock Hill with Dr. Ron Richardson officiating. Family and friends will gather for food and fellowship after service at Catawba Baptist Church, The Connection Center, 1450 Anderson Rd S, Rock Hill, SC 29730.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Faulkenberry was the son of the late John J. Faulkenberry and the late Doris Knight Faulkenberry. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet Brazell Faulkenberry. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church.
Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by his daughter, Terri Cannon; his grandson, Tommy (Maranda) Sutton III; two granddaughters, Robin Cannon (Matt) Martin, Katherine Cannon; four great-grandchildren, Dakota Shelton, Devlin Shelton, Cheyenne Shelton, Isabelle Sutton; one great-great-grandson, Augustus Shelton.
