Lisa Gail Samples Babauta, 56, of York SC passed away on September 11, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
Lisa was born on August 26, 1968 in Summersville, WV. She was the daughter of Junior and Regina Samples of Canvas, WV. She was a graduate of Nicholas County High School class of 1986. She enjoyed attending church, spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. Lisa was a loving mother, special friend and devoted employee of Burns Chevy. Her favorite part of life lot was as being a Grammy.
Lisa is survived by her two parents, Junior and Regina Samples of Canvas WV. Sister Kim (Vince) Belletto, also of Canvas WV. Children Elizabeth (Tyler) Vance, Dionicio (Kristen) Babauta, Carleena Babauta (Jackson Chumley) all of York SC. Step son Zack (Jill) Babauta of Lexington VA. Grandchildren RayLee, Isabella, Henry Vance and special grand dog Lyla Babauta of York SC, and Maverick Babauta of Lexington VA. Nephews Jeremy (Bethany) Waybright of Summerville WV and Chris (Greg) Waybright of Myrtle Beach. Dear friends, Karen (Matt) Rodino, Michael Ford, and R. Charles Gilmore. Along with many other family members and friends.
