Linda Devinney Troublefield 73, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on December 6, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on July 28, 1951, to Harold and Nita Devinney, in Rock Hill, SC. Lovingly raised by her grandparents Ernest and Cordie Devinney of Rock Hill.
Linda and her husband Bill owned Troublefield Heating and Cooling for over 30 years. Linda then had a Wise Chip route in Rock Hill where she was known for her exceptional customer service. Linda retired earlier this year from PCI. Graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1970 and York Technical College in 1972 with an Associates in Accounting.
Linda’s greatest love was her boys. Known as the team statistician for all the countless baseball games you could always find her on the sidelines coaching the team while making lifelong friends.
Linda was known for her infectious smile and great sense of humor. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and favorite aunt to many. Linda always took care of others above herself.
Linda is survived by her sons, Brandon Troublefield of Pineville, NC, Brent Troublefield of Rock Hill, SC, granddaughter Ainsley Troublefield of Rock Hill, Brothers Harold Devinney Jr of Katy, Texas, Rev. Jerry Devinney (Rhonda) of Rock Hill, George Devinney of Pittsboro, NC. Sisters Libby Thurston (Kenneth) of Lake Keowee SC, Tina Burnett (Jack) of Union SC. Along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Anita Devinney. Grandparents Ernest and Cordie Devinney.
A celebration of life will take place December 14th, 2024, 12pm at Lakewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Devinney. Family will receive friends immediately after the service.
