Rock Hill, SC – Kenneth Lester Faulkenberry, 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at his home after a long illness.
Kenneth was born in Lancaster, SC, and was the son of the late Harvey A Faulkenberry and the late Iris Hammonds Faulkenberry. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Faulkenberry and Harvey Faulkenberry, and his sister, Hilda McAteer. He was retired from Charlotte Pipe and Foundry with 24 years of service. He was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church. Kenneth still enjoyed performing mechanical work after his retirement. One of his favorite pass times was to have family gatherings to share with each other.
Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by his wife, Rosemary Moss Faulkenberry; his three sons, Michael (Venus) Shackelford, Randy (Janice) Faulkenberry, and John Faulkenberry, his daughter, Donna (Brandon) Moritz; his sister, Dot (Allen) Knight; and ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Kenneth’s life starting at 12noon on February 9, 2024 at Woodhaven Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Williams and Kenny Vinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the family home
