In loving memory of Kay K. Beach, 86, who peacefully passed away on January 4, 2024, at Greenville Hospital in South Carolina. Born in Chicago on December 31, 1937, Kay’s early years were shaped in Alexandria, VA, where she graduated from George Washington High School.

Kay’s warmth and love touched the lives of many. She loved to talk to anyone she encountered, almost always sharing stories about her family. In earlier yearsshe was a member of a biking group, loved to walk, enjoyed gardening and served on her church vestry and altar guild for many years.  She was proud of her Swedish heritage, wanting to learn more and found an extra interest in Swedish art. She was an avid reader and always searched out the local libraries. She loved crossword puzzles, writing letters and sipping tea.

She is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Paulyn Kampeand brother Eric.  She is survived by her pride and joy: her five children, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Kay’s legacy of love, life, and laughter will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.
