Rock Hill, SC – On November 16, 2023, Kathryn Seiwert gained her wings into heaven. If you were given the chance of knowing her then you know she was the most heartfelt person you’d ever meet, she would always be there for you, no matter what. Kathy always had a positive attitude and never had a dull moment! She loved chit chatting and having a good gathering with people she loved! She loved cleaning up her house and making it into a home. She most of all had the number one love story of 50 years of marriage with her husband. She was the most amazing mother, grandmother and GG we could have ever asked for. It was always a new adventure.  She was a special person, who touched so many people.  Kathy loved going to NY in the summers to Faun Lake and spending time with her great grandchildren who loved their GG so much! Kathy came home from Germany to a terrible Cancer diagnosis and spent every single day since with her loving family by her side to support her. Kathy was the strongest woman you’d ever meet achieving things that she never thought she could do. Having a loving amazing family, owning a store, driving a motorcycle, moving from her hometown, working for so many years, and lastly listed even though the list goes on being an amazing wife, mother, grandma, GG, sister, friend, and second motherly figure for so many… She will truly be missed by so many and forever will live in our amazing memories.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Lee Seiwert, her sons, Rodney (Ronda)and Kurt (Rosie) Seiwert, her grandchildren, Mitchell (Ali) and Amanda (Dane) Seiwert, Allison (Adam) Singer, and Kellan Seiwert; her great grandchildren, Liam, Lily, Layla, Lacey, and Laney Blackburn, and Presley Seiwert; her very loving brother, David Schmitt and sisters, Carol (Floyd) Baker and Delores (John) Stanton, along with brother-in-law, Peter Seiwert and Karen Yerger.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine and father, Bernard Schmitt and her loving sisters, Patricia (John) Hollohan and Joyce (Bill) Luvender.
