Mrs. Joyce Ingram Smothers, 83, of Rock Hill passed away Monday, March 23, 2025.
Joyce was born on November 4, 1941 in Rock Hill, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Marion Allen Ingram and the late Mildred Morton Ingram. In addition to his parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Bobby John Smothers. She was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Smothers (Diane) and Michael Smothers (Melonie); her two grandchildren, Cole (Krista) and Micah; her sister, Linda Laine and her brother-in-law Sam (Kay) as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Joyce was always a people person and always put her family first.
A service for Mrs. Smothers will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27,2025, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joyce’s name to Grace Church of the Nazarene 1029 Mt Gallant Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
