Rock Hill, SC – Joseph S. Romeu, 90, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Born in The Bronx, NY, Mr. Romeu was the son of the late Santiago Romeu and the late Rosa Betancourt Romeu. He gave back to his community by working as a volunteer EMS responder, enjoyed collecting coins, and loved playing dominos. He served this country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1953.
Surviving are his sister, Lila Rosado of Rock Hill, SC; his brother, Aurelio Romeu; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Roldan; his brother-in-law, Louis Rosado; two nieces, Danita Moyet and her husband, Benjamin of Rock Hill, SC, and Jean Robin Romeu; two nephews, Derek Rosado and Michael Romeu; two grand-nieces, Nicole Tomasicchio and Alyssa Tomasicchio; and his grand-nephew, Derek Rosado, Jr.
