Rock Hill – Joseph Donald Sutton, Jr., 62, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Mr. Sutton was born in Rock Hill, SC, and was the son of the late Joseph Donald Sutton, Sr. and the late Patricia Terlinde Sutton. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Elkins. He enjoyed racing and car shows. He was fond of Corvettes, if fact he had to have two.
Services for Mr. Sutton will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road.
Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Jackie Faulkenbury Sutton; his sister-in-law, Cathy (Brian) Wilson; his four nieces; and his two best friends, Sadie-Mae and Ringo.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Sutton’s name to American Heart Association/American Stroke Association 10 Glenlake Pkwy NE South Tower Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30328.
