Rock Hill, SC – Jason Richard Poag, 46, passed away June 23, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was the son of Richard O. Poag and Pamela Welch Poag.
Services for Jason will be held Friday, June 28, 2024, at Mt. Holly Methodist Church, 1996 Mt. Holly Rd., Rock Hill, SC, with Don Gillespie officiating. Visitation will begin at 2pm, followed by the funeral at 3pm. Burial will be held immediately following the service at the church cemetery.
Aside from his parents, Jason is survived by his grandmother, Arlene Carlton Welch, his wife, Brandy Dill Poag, his son, Kaleb, daughter, Logan; his siblings, Laura Poag, Susan Poag Randall (Will), David Poag (Jennifer), and many nieces and nephews. Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Ebbie Poag, and GC Welch.
Jason graduated from Rock Hill High School and Winthrop University with a major in business. He went on to pursue a career in sales and finance with Honda Cars of Rock Hill. He loved his family, fishing, hunting, gardening, and being out in nature.
