Rock Hill, S.C. – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jamie” Charles Mullins on March 21, 2024 after a heroic 16-month battle with colon cancer.
Jamie was born on July 20, 1990, to Kimberly Maynor of Rock Hill and Charles Mullins of Lancaster. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 2010. He was a former employee of Siemens Energy as a generator rotor winder. Jamie was a big sports fan, but he specifically loved football, and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. He met his wife Narissa (Lounsberry) in 2017 and they were married on October 20, 2020. Their son, Gabriel Forrest Mullins was born on September 6, 2021. Jamie will be remembered by those who knew him for his unfailing ability to make them laugh and his kind heart.
Jamie is preceded in death by his grandmother Glynnis Elkins Flynn, grandparents James and Nellie Mullins. Jamie is survived by his wife, Narissa, and son, Gabe, his mother, Kimberly Maynor, father, Charles Mullins, siblings, Makenna Honchell and Aidan Mullins, grandparents Michael and Debra Maynor, beloved Aunt and Uncle, Marie and Steve Maynor, and multiple cherished cousins.
Services are as follows: Visitation on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 5pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 2133 Ebenezer Road Rock Hill, South Carolina and Memorial Service next day, Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2pm at Greene Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society York County Branch in Jamie’s honor.
