Rock Hill, SC – Mr. James Arnette “Trey” Stafford, 30, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the home of his mother.
All services will be private.
James was born in Chesterfield, SC on September 8, 1993 to Marquita Neal Berry and the late James A. Stafford. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, the late James H. and Betty Stafford; his aunt, Anita K. Stafford. James adored his wife and three children. He had a passion for skateboarding, stunt riding, spending time with his family, and was a tattoo enthusiast. James worked in construction, having a special talent as a tile setter.
James is survived by his wife, Kayla Thompson Stafford; three children, Prosper Stafford, Dakin Stafford, Ledger Stafford; his mother, Marquita Neal (Willie) Berry of Richburg, SC; his grandparents Cliff and Sheryl Batson of Liberty Hill, SC, James and Lillian Neal of Missouri; his brother, Trinity (Aleeyah) Stafford of Rock Hill; his uncle, Jeremy Neal of Rock Hill; his aunt, Betty Sue Stafford of Charleston, SC; and multiple additional family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in James Stafford’s name to Addiction Treatment Services, 1010 S. Garfield Ave. Traverse City, Michigan 49684.
