Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Harold Francis Lewis, 85, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1320 India Hook Road, Rock Hill SC 29732 with the Reverend Dr. Michael Honeycutt officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 pm in the sanctuary.
A native of Marion County, SC, Harold was the son the late Leslie Lewis and the late Ima Herring Lewis. He was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and loved the fellowship he spent with his Men’s Bible study group. Harold spent his professional career in banking. He never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor. He also enjoyed visiting the beach and watching Clemson sports. Harold was known for sharing his famous banana nut bread and brownies with those he loved. He was the widower of Patricia Lee Lewis.
Harold was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Patrice Smith (Mark); grandson, Zach Smith; granddaughter, Charlotte Taunton (Jared), great-grandson, Graham Taunton, daughter, Anna Mullis (Stanley); granddaughter, Megan Jamison (Daniel) great-granddaughters, Caroline Jamison and Ellie Jamison; and his sister Peggy L. Morris. He was preceded in death by his sons, Harold Francis Lewis, Jr. and Stephen Dozier Lewis.
