Gwendolyn (Pat) Gibson Knox died peacefully September 29, 2024 in the comfort of her home at the age of 89 after a long and fulfilling life.
Pat was born in Richburg, SC to John McAliley Gibson and Jessie Bagley Gibson. She graduated from Lewisville High School and retired from Springs Industries Executive Office in Fort Mill. Pat married JC in 1958 and during their 66 years of marriage had two daughters: Terrie (Charlie) Steele and Tammy (Doug) Calvin.
Also left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren; Tripp (Stacy) Steele and Autumn (Ron) Cauthen along with her great-grandchildren; Paisley Cauthen, Caleb Steele, Rylie Steele and Trey Cauthen.
Pat was a member of Neely’s Creek ARP Church. The family will have a small, quiet, private service at a later date.
