Francis Lynn Henry, 84, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. He will lovingly be remembered by his family and friends.
Born in Willand, OH, March 3, 1940, he was the beloved son of the late Andrew Henry and the late Merl Hammond
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Diane Hanshaw Henry who he loved taking care of dearly. They met in Coldwater Michigan, they resided in Tampa Florida for a couple years, and later moved to Rock Hill, SC, where they formed their family.
Along with Mr. Henry’s wife he is survived by his children, Michael Henry (Debra), Andrew Henry (Robin) and Kimberly Tilley (Ken); his sister Lillian Bores; and his grandchildren, Christian, Adia, Hayden, Zack, and Katelyn. He is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Henry; sisters, Delores Grama and Audry Gross and his granddaughter, Alexa Henry.
Mr. Henry was a member of the Knights of Columbus and in his free time enjoyed watching sports. He adored being surrounded by his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Family will have a visitation Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 12pm at Saint Anne Catholic Church. 1694 Bird St, Rock Hill, SC 29730 following a mass dedicated to him at 1pm with father Joseph Pierce officiating. Immediately after mass, burial at the columbarium will take place. He will be sorely missed by his family who loved him dearly.
