Rock Hill, SC – Emery Robert Huff, “Bob”, 81, passed away peacefully Tuesday. June 04, 2024, at Chandler Place Assisted Living.

Mr. Huff was born in Port Jervis, NY, on March 22, 1943.  He was the son of the late Emery Ray Huff and the late Gladys J Bosler.

Mr. Huff entered the US Army on March 01, 1960.  During his career he served as a medic in the Vietnam War from December 15, 1967 to December 09, 1968.  During that time, he was awarded several metals including a Combat medical Badge, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service metal and several others. He proudly and honorably served his county for 21 years, until retiring on March 31, 1981 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.  He returned to Pike County, Pennsylvania where he then started his career at Kolmar Labs in Port Jervis, NY and worked as a Shipping and Receiving clerk, until retiring in December 2013 and moving to Rock Hill, SC.  He then drove for Burns Chevrolet and worked for H&R Block before fully retiring.

Bob was always smiling and happy, and just enjoyed being with his family and friends. He enjoyed researching Genealogy and Family Tree history, cheering on his Philadelphia Eagles, watching Nascar races, and going to cheer on his granddaughter, Khloe at her gymnastics competitions.

Mr. Huff is survived by his daughter Kristina Mckean (Rock Hill, SC); his son-in-law, Scott McKean, granddaughter Khloe McKean, and many other family members who truly loved him and adored him.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 6:00-7:00pm at Greene Funeral Home in Rock Hill, SC.  Service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 10:00am at Greene Funeral Home, followed by military burial at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC at 2:00pm.
