Spartanburg, SC – Elizabeth Ann Spell, 42, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at her home in Spartanburg, SC.
Elizabeth was born in Rock Hill, SC, and was the daughter of John Michael Spell (Beth) and Teresa Deese Parker (Howard). She was preceded in death by her life partner, Ray Nowowiecki, grandparents. John and Emily Spell and Horace and Ruby Deese Baldwin and the late Clyde Baldwin. Elizabeth was a medical assistant and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed art and crafts, and loved her cat, Dempsey.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, Rock Hill, SC with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Rebecca Brooke (Jeff) Sakakini of Charlotte, NC; her two nephews, Noah and Carter Sakakini; her aunts, Robin Coggins, Angie Tinkler, Mona Christopher, and Denise Swede; her grandmother, Julie Merritt; and her cat, Dempsey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Elizabeth’s name to Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Parkway Ste 103, Ft Mill, SC 29715.
