Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Doniece Bagley, 76, went home to be with the Lord peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 5:00-6:30 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bagley was a native of Rock Hill, SC and a citizen of the Catawba Indian Nation. She was the daughter of the late Jack Hardin Robinson and Frances Lucyinda George. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She worked for many years as a nurse at various doctors’ offices, York General Hospital, and later retired as the Director of Health at the Catawba Indian Reservation. She was very artistic and was a painter. She also enjoyed writing, knitting and was an avid reader. Mrs. Bagley’s family was her life. She was a member of Catawba Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bagley is survived by her husband of 58 years, John Grady Bagley, Jr.; her children, Dixie Bagley Gibson (Steven) of Rock Hill; John Wayne Bagley (Robert) of Hollywood, SC and Jackie Bagley (Marsha) of Catawba, SC; her sisters, Cindy Davis Allen and Laura Davis both of Rock Hill; and her grandchildren, Lana Rose Bagley (Charles), Luke Gibson (Katherine), Patrick Gibson and Michael Gibson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Freddie Diane Davis.
