Donald Clarence Krause passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 7, 2024.
A memorial service will be on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732. Visitation will follow after the service.
Don was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, 89 years ago. He graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a licensed Professional Engineer. Don was a Second Lieutenant in the Army of the United States. He retired from Celanese Corporation in Rock Hill, SC where he was employed as a Project Manager.
He was a member of Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC where he served as an usher. After retirement from Celanese, he spent many years volunteering at the Billy Graham Library and with Prison Ministry, embodying his deep faith and commitment to service.
Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ellie; daughters, Susan Stoerker (Mark) of Fort Worth, TX and Cindy Busch (Craig) of Charlotte, NC; son, David (Cynthia) of Virginia Beach, VA; and six beloved grandchildren.
