Rock Hill, SC – Deidre Pittman Lynn, 48, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Atrium Health – Main in Charlotte, NC.
Deidre was born on April 13, 1975 in Charlotte, NC and was the daughter of Johnny Daniel Pittman of Florida and Pamela Isaac of Tennessee. She lived in Tennessee when she was young, then later returned to Clover and attended Clover High School. Deidre worked in many different restaurants and sports bars around Rock Hill. She worked at Luke’s, Garvey’s, and most recently, Friendly Billiards. Deidre was known to be the best bartender in town. She would call her customers her people and she sure knew how to take care of them. Deidre was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She loved with her whole heart and would give to anyone in need. Her personality was warm and bubbly. She loved the Washington Redskins and the Carlina gamecocks. In her free time, Deidre’s life was devoted to her two grandsons, Ja’Marion and Ja’Kayrie who were truly her heart.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Pastor Ricky Jones officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Deidre is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Nicole Morton; her son, Dustin Dekota Morton; her sister, Stephanie (Dawn) Perkins; her two grandchildren, Ja’Marion Lashun Morton and Ja’Kayrie Stefan Mayfield; her niece, Destiny (Gabe) Barnett; her nephews, Jerry Reed, III, Nathan (Alyssa) Reed and Bailee Perkins; her step mother, Naomi Pittman; her partner, Ray McCloud; and several great nieces and nephews.
