Rock Hill, SC – Ms. Debra James Rappe, 67, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
A Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Debra was born in Charlotte, NC and was the daughter of the late Harvey Walter James, Sr. and Elizabeth Juanita Kerr James. She was a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School and worked for many years in the Garden Center at Lowes. Debra enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening. She collected frog and turtle statues and loved cats. Spending time with her family brought her great joy.
Debra is survived by her daughter, Candice Martin (John); her son, Daniel Johnston; her brothers, Rickey James and David James (Sandra); and her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandy Mayzes; her brother, Harvey James and sister-in-law, Linda; and her sister, Diane Gray and brother-in-law, Ralph.
