Curtis Adams, born on February 25, 1948, in Maryville, TN, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 5, 2024.

Curtis was the beloved husband of Brenda Parris Adams for 58 years, a union that was marked by love, commitment, and the kind of laughter that can only come from a life well-shared. Together, they built a family filled with love, joy, and memories, raising two children, Darrell and Janet. He was a proud grandfather to Chelsey, Karlee, and Kelly, and a great-grandfather to Gunner and Waylon, all of whom brought him endless joy. He is preceded in death by his sisters Linda Watson and Christine (Carroll) Lambert, surviving sister Rosemary (Brice) Starnes.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 416 and York Crescent Shrine Club where his heart for service truly shined. Curtis spent many years transporting disabled and sick children to Shriners hospitals, ensuring they received the life-changing treatments they needed. Because of his tireless dedication, many children are healthier and happier today. His advocacy for these children was only matched by his commitment to fundraising for Shriners Charities, where he worked passionately to provide financial support for their continued care.

Known for his light-hearted nature and practical jokes, Curtis brought laughter to every gathering. His joy was contagious, and when he was near, laughter and good spirits were sure to follow. His ability to bring lightness even to the most ordinary of moments is a legacy that will continue to warm the hearts of those who knew him.   Though Curtis will be deeply missed by his family and friends, they find comfort in knowing that he has gone to his eternal home with his Savior. His love for life, devotion to his family, and unwavering faith leave behind a lasting impact that will endure through the lives he touched and the laughter he sparked.
