Rock Hill, SC – Brooklyn Nicole George-Dugan, 31, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Brooklyn was born to Tige George and Belinda Ramsey on September 9, 1992, in Rock Hill, SC. She graduated from York Comprehensive High School in 2011, and married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Kyler Dugan. Brooklyn “loved life and lived life.” She enjoyed being around people and had a big heart. She enjoyed the mountains, the fall season, and especially, Halloween. In her spare time, she also was fond of documentaries and an occasional porch nap. She was a member of Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church and a member of the Catawba tribe.
She is survived by her husband, Kyler Owen Dugan; her daughter, Bry’Lee Dugan; her parents, Tige George and Belinda Grant; her sisters, Hayley George (Trevor Garvin) and Skylar Grant; her grandparents, Eddie and Jackie George; her special aunt, Tammy Davis (Dennis); her nephew, Jayden George; her cousin, Heather Chapman (Justin); her three pet companions, Daisy, Dixie, and Sadie; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnny and Geneva Ramsey; and her step-father, Chris Grant.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Hopewell School, 109 Dowdle Farm Road, Hickory Grove, SC 29745.
