Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Brenda Mobley Nivens, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her home with her loving husband by her side.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Catawba Baptist Church, with Dr. Ron Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm on Friday prior to the service.
Born in Chester, SC, Mrs. Nivens was the daughter of the late Ed Mobley and the late Lona Faye McManus Mobley. She attended Catawba Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nivens is survived by her husband, John Ray Nivens; three sons, Bruce Gene Welch of San Antonio, TX, Mike Lee Welch of Chester, SC, and Sidney Gene Welch of SC; two grandsons, Brent Welch and Glen Welch.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Brenda Nivens name to Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 South Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
