Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Brenda Guthrie Elliott, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at her home.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Monday, June 3, 2024, with visitation to follow at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Brad Hudson officiating.
Born in High Point, NC, Brenda was the daughter of the late D. Paul Willis and the late Jacqueline Williams Willis. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a graduate of Winthrop College. She was a member of the Junior Welfare league and various bridge club groups. Brenda was an avid supporter of the Animal Humane Society, Local Hospice, St. Jude’s and other various community organizations.
In 1990, Brenda and Marian Scott opened BMA Tax Service. After 34 years, BMA still continues to serve many loyal clients and friends.
Brenda loved to read, watch the birds and other wildlife, view the sunset, go to the beach, and listen to beach music. Her sweet dog, Gypsy, brought her joy daily. Brenda was a loving mother and grandmother. She always had a smile on her face, kind words for everyone, and loved a good joke.
Surviving are her daughters, Allison Hall Harper (Clif) of Bamberg SC, and Leigh Anne Hall Estes (Chris) of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Luke and Maggie Harper, Sarah Kathryn and Andrew Estes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Elliott’s name to Hospice and Community Care or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
