Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Brenda Foster Taylor, 80, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Aldersgate in Charlotte, NC.
Brenda was born in Columbia, SC, and was the daughter of the late Hubert Pace and the late Margaret Greene Pace. Hubert Pace was a casualty of WW2. Her mother later married the late William B. Foster who then adopted Brenda.
Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Rae Taylor.
Brenda was a wonderful wife, mother and home maker, she was a lab technician at several locations including the York General Hospital, Chester County Hospital, the Lewisville Family Clinic, as well as other industrial companies. She enjoyed porcelain painting and jewelry making.
A service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 28, 2023 with a private graveside service.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 pm, Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Andrew James Taylor; her two sons, Keith William (Kerin) Taylor of Valdese, NC, and Kevin Ainsley (Michelle) Taylor of Rock Hill, SC; her daughter, Debra Adams of Winston-Salem, NC; brother-in-law, Paul (Bobby) Taylor of Oxford, UK; five grandchildren, David Adams, Benjamin Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Madeline Rae Taylor, and Kathryn Grace Taylor; her two great-granddaughters Lilly Adams and Corah Adams.
