Benjamin Robert “Robbie” Mothershed was born November 13th, 1964 in Camden, New Jersey. He departed this life on Sunday July 7, 2024 at CMC Pineville surrounded by his family. He is survived by his three children Timothy Mead, Elizabeth O’Hara, and Lauren Mikell and his uncle, Jerry Faulkenberry. As well as his niece Kristina Brandon, and nephews, Cody Cherry and Jeffery Davenport. His dearest and close friend Cynthia Dozier, as well as many other loved friends.
Robbie was a man with great love that we will always remember. He was an amazing son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Robbie’s love went beyond people; he deeply loved the art of cinema, good music, animals, and motorcycles. He was a very talented man in construction and deeply loved the job he worked for 35 years. He built many buildings from downtown Charlotte to all the surrounding areas, including schools and hospitals. Like the buildings he built, his name and memory will forever withstand the test of times. Many thanks and blessings to all that supported his family through this. Be blessed and fly high sweet angel!
“He is Gone”
Abridged from David Harkins
You can shed tears that he is gone
Or you can smile because he has lived
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him
Or you can be full of the love that you shared
