Edgemoor, SC – Mrs. Belinda Renee Blanchett passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 5:00-6:30 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. A service for Renee will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Heath Memorial United Methodist Church, 3781 Lando Road, Lando, SC 29729. Burial will follow at Lando Cemetery, 3788 Edgeland Road, Richburg, SC 29729. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her son, Chad Blanchett, 932 Jason Lyle Dr., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
Renee was born in Rock Hill and is the daughter of Jessie O. Vinson and Clothielda S. Vinson of Lando, SC. Renee was a devoted wife, cherished mother, and a loving aunt to multiple nieces and nephews. Renee was preceded in death by her son Gary Blanchett.
Renee is survived by her husband Charles “Charlie” Blanchett of Edgemoor. In addition to her husband, Renee is survived by her sons, Charles Blanchett, Jr. of Richburg, and Chad (Tori) Blanchett of Rock Hill; daughter in law Debra Blanchett; grandchildren, Garrett (Kathryne) Blanchett, Gabby, Madi, Gabriel, Ashley, and Michael; great-grandchildren Everleigh and Colt. Renee is also survived by her brothers, Bill (Susie) Vinson, and Tommy (Debbie) Vinson; and her sisters Kathy (Mike) Partain, Sissy (Glen) Chappell, Madge (Chuck) Hinnant, and Sue (Paul) Hutchingson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Renee’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
