Rock Hill – Mrs. Ann Miller Alewine, 94, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, followed by the 2 p.m. funeral at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastors Gregg and Rachel Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road.
Born in Blair, SC, Mrs. Alewine was the daughter of the late Lovick Pierce Miller and Ethel Berley Miller. She was formerly employed by S&H Green Stamp Company and Rock Hill National Bank. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was an avid gardener and Southern cook.
Mrs. Alewine is survived by daughter Deborah A. Edwards and son Harold B. Alewine, Jr. (Debbie) of Rock Hill; sister Caroline Miller Fulmer (Vernon Hawkins) of Newberry, SC; grandsons Jonathan B. Edwards (Elsa) of Rock Hill and Harold B. “Tripp” Alewine III (Corrie) of Catawba, SC; great-grandchildren Thomas Edwards, Allis Edwards, Justice Pope, Drew Pope, and Tyler Pope; and great-great-granddaughter Lailanni Pope. She was preceded in death by husband Harold Bryant “H.B.” Alewine and brothers Lovick Pierce Miller, Jr. and Berley L. Miller.
