Edgemoor, SC – Ally Kate Blackwelder was born to Wil and Megan Blackwelder on November 23, 2021. She was born a fighter and amazed everyone with her strength and determination each and every day. Ally Kate had the brightest blue eyes that would sparkle in the sun light, the prettiest blonde curly hair and a smile that would light up a dark room. She was a beautiful baby girl, both inside and out. To know her, was to love her. Ally was the youngest of four siblings. Grady, Ella and Ben were her best friends and biggest cheerleaders in life. They adored Ally and loved her with every ounce of their bodies. Watching them play together was the cutest thing in the world. They all showed her so much patience and gentleness, she was their real-life baby doll. Ben and Ally were two peas in a pod. Where one was, the other was not far behind. They would draw on the walls together, snack together, and loved going on Jeep Rides with daddy. Ella and Ally had such a special bond. They shared the same favorite color, the same favorite toys and loved being little princesses. Grady loved to encouraged Ally to do new things. He helped her walk, he would make her laugh from tickles and loved to dance with her in the living room. Ally Kate will always hold a special place in her siblings heart.
Ally Kate was a daddy’s girl. Whenever Wil was in the room, she didn’t see anyone else. To her, he hung the moon and stars. He made all the boo-boos go away, he gave the best hugs and rocked her to sleep countless times as an infant. She had him wrapped around her little finger. To see the look in her eyes when she saw her daddy, was priceless. Ally Kate loved her mama just as much. Wherever you saw Megan, you saw Ally. They had a special mother-daughter bond that will forever be cherished. Ally knew where her mama was at all times, she never let her get too far from her sight. To Ally, her mommy was the best in the world. She gave the best snuggles, was her best friend and always had her laughing. Megan and Ally were inseparable. Ally will always be her mommy’s baby girl. Ally passed away peacefully July 10th in the arms of both her mom and dad, surrounded by love.
