Richburg, SC – Wanda Gail Williams, 62, went home to her Heavenly Father on January 14th, 2024, surrounded by her beloved brother, Eddie Williams; stepson, Denny Head and dear friend, Elaine Dube.
Wanda was born in Rock Hill, SC on October 2nd, 1961, to the late Pete Williams and the late Judy Gray. She is survived by her sister, Debbie Denton (Paul) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her brother, Eddie Gray Williams (Vonda) of York, SC; stepdaughter, Tracey White, who was Wanda’s faithful caretaker for the last years of her life of Richburg, SC; stepson, Denny Head of Rock Hill, SC; nephews, Scotty Williams of Supply, NC; Jeffrey Denton of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joseph Benenhaley of Rock Hill, SC; step-grandsons, Gabriel White and Caleb White of Richburg, SC; great nieces, Natale Orlando and Michelle Williams of Sunset Beach, NC; special friends and neighbors, Elaine, Victor, Tony, Alex and Tori Dube of Richburg, SC; and her beloved dog, Princess and beloved cat, Rascal.
Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Pete Williams; her mother, Judy Gray; her stepfather, Bobby Gray; and her brother, Mike Williams.
Wanda’s greatest passion in life was rescuing animals in need. She was a true rescuer and found them in dire straits wherever they were and brought them into her home as part of her family.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, at Commodore Yacht Club, 4010 Kingfisher Drive, York SC 29745 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for family and friends to visit and celebrate Wanda’s exceptional life.
