Rock Hill, SC – William Robert Dickson, 82, was ushered into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 29, 2024 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill. He was born on December 11, 1941 in McConnell’s, SC to the late William Guy Dickson and the late Sarah Frances Caveny Dickson. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty K. Dickson; son, Jeff Dickson (Tammy); daughter, Lori Dickson; brothers, Tom Dickson (Frankie) and Jerry Dickson (Gayle); grandchildren, Amber Dickson Cudd (Addison), Chance Dickson, Caleb Dickson, Pastor Luke Dickson (Chyloe), Ever Dickson, Ethan Dickson, Ellie Dickson; great-grandchildren, Addi Cudd, Hudson Cudd, and Adah Grace Cudd.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11 AM at Ebenezer ARP Church Cemetery, 2132 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732 with Pastor Luke Dickson and Reverend Andy Putnam officiating.
Bob honorably served in the U.S. Army as a marksman during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and loved all of God’s creation. Bob was actively involved at Tirzah ARP, where he served as deacon and sang in the choir. He was a Christian and above all, Bob loved the Lord. He adored his family, especially his grandchildren.
